TEDx talk about Usher syndrome
Machteld has Usher syndrome. The disease has changed her vision and hearing and changed her life. It has also taught her not to judge other people. Machteld is 38 years old, living in Haarlem in the Netherlands. She is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, honest, sociable and sporty; her motto is "Nothing is as it seems".
