Eikholt participates in German project

Eikholt has established a collaboration with a project in Germany on designing programmes for people with combined sensory loss. There are measures related to work in particular, but also rehabilitation measures in general.

The project group in Germany is based on a collaboration between "Nikolauspflege Stuttgart", "Deutsches Taubblindenwerk gGmbH" in Hanover and "SFZ Förderzentrum gGmbH" in Chemnitz and Berlin. These are three large organisations with broad expertise and many resources.
The developed programmes will be implemented in four locations (Stuttgart, Hannover, Chemnitz and Berlin). All people with deafblindness of working age in Germany will be eligible to participate in these programmes. For Eikholt, this will mean that we can participate in a European network to increase our own expertise and contribute with our experiences.
